Subject: RE: new at tris Yep, for sure slow progress is vital. In fact on my morning run this morning, I was experenicing some pain in my back. I had planned on making this a speed work. While I was disappointed, I had to remind myself that smart running is better than no running. Having had the experiencing of not being able to run and the experience of knowing the joy of running, I must pay attention to what is happening and make this a joint effort between mind and body. Having great doctors is also criticle. Check out an active release practitioner to work out scar tissue that can impede progress. My ART doc has been the shinning beacon in my effort to do some races at all. Hope all this helps.
