March Update:
Hit 2000 minutes target (actual total 2713 )despite a lot of travel:
- Bike: 1178 mins (love the new bike )
- Run: 654 mins
- Swim: 401 mins
- Strength: 300 mins
- soccer/hockey: 180 mins
Here were the goals for March:
Feel pretty good about the volume of effort in Feb, but want to step up intensity for March:
- Use HR monitor to define training zones (completed )
- stick to training program in prep for 1st triathlon June 2nd (Lake Delavan, WI; Sprint Distance ) (completed )
- master flip turns in the water (abandoned - useless for me; just tired me out )
- maintain weight at 160lbs (achieved; hover between 158 and 163 )
- hit 2000 minutes mark for March (will be difficult; a lot of travel planned for March ) actual hit: 2713
April:
- stick to program
- keep volume at current level
- work on positive mental attitude
- watch more carefully what I eat
- ride the bike a lot |
