According to the website, they are still looking for volunteers for IM Wisconsin, especially for Aid Stations and Pointers.

It is Sunday, September 12th in ( and around ) Madison, WI.

I'm doing an Olympic on the 11th, and I'm signed up to volunteer at IM-WI the next day, so what is your excuse?

Seriously, I think it's a really cool way to get to see the race, get a t-shirt out of it, and help out a great event.

Are you doing your Olympic in Lake Geneva?

What's my excuse, I'm supposed to close on a house on the 30th. Now, should I want to move into that house with my wife, I had better not take the whole weekend to play. I'll be lucky to get my race in in LG.

I am also planning to do the Lake Geneva race, distance tbd.

Unfortunatley, I am scheduled for a yoga/pilates instructor seminar on the 12th. Which blows, b/c volunteering for IM WI would be much more fun!

Yes, I am doing the Lake Geneva Oly on the 11th.

And my comment about 'whats your excuse' was meant as tongue in cheek, not a serious chiding.

I'm a single guy with not much better to do, so I don't have to convince anyone that I need to do it, I can just decide and go. :D

didn't take it seriously.. however, without your suggestion I probably would not have thought about it. So for future reference, thanks for bringing it up, I'm going to try to fit it in sometime.

Hope to see you in Lake Geneva.
