Subject: RE: some words of inspirationI actually used to work for Vandelay Industries, we were into plastics back then. This, of course was after my stint as an architect, but then, alas, I lost "the bet". I did try to ship a few raincoats once but that didn't pan out.
If it's got a funny label and isn't budweiser or Old Milwaukee I'll probably drink it. I'm partial to wheat filtered beers right now. Hefeweizen is one. Anchorsteam is a microbrew based out of SF. Sierra Nevada is good but that's so popular now I think it's more of a macrobrew than micro. I once bought a lemon flavored beer....big mistake. And then once tried a spiced micro brew with jalapenos. It was so stinkin' hot. Redhook is good...they're out of Seattle. There's a place in Healdsburg that does goooooood micros http://www.bearrepublic.com/...Ithink their Racer IPA is my fav right now.
Ooooh, Australian wines...YES YES YES. I'm coming off my Shiraz phase and am now moving into the Australian cabs. I'm more of a red kinda gal. They have this wine out here right now being sold in Trader Joe's (a small chain alternative grocery stores ) called 2 buck chuck. It's bottled out here and called Charles Shaw. The kick is they're selling it for $1.99 a bottle. Probably compares to a 7-9 dollar bottle of wine...so not too bad for the price point. it's a huge freakin' phenomenon and everyone's drinkin' it.
Ron, once you get your brews brewed you'll have to set up a link to sell some of it on the site. I can see your marketing campaign now...."Train hard today? Sit back with a TriBrew!"
vmax3000, now it's me who's completely off topic...my apologies and I'll sign off.
Gonna go sit down, relax with my big salad and have me some junior mints....they're *very* refreshing.
