I will just make sure to bring lots of water to rinse off with. |

They have carpet through transition but yes, be prepared for sandy feet. |

Oh, wait a minute, this is the flora bama, its not a USAT race so wetsuits always legal. Bike is 16.2 according to latest conversation with the bartender. They shortened it a little from last year for safety reasons (?). |

| New user 9 | Subject: RE: Mullet Man Triathlon Just wanted to say hi to everyone's that's doing it tomorrow. This will be my first tri. I have a wetsuit but I think I'm going to try and tough it out due to the short length of the swim. I went for a swim at Navarre Beach last week with my wetsuit and it took me 10 minutes to get out of it! Definitely not worth the time. Weather looks to be about 60-65 or so for the race? Seems kind of cold to me. I'm not so much worried about being cold during the swim, because it's so short), but not being able to warm up during the ride. I tend to take a really long time to warm up. Wearing a wet spandex suit riding in 60 degree weather sounds crazy to me. Any input to lessen my fears? Brian |

It will be cold on the swim but your right on the wetsuit, it will take longer to change then is necessary. By the time you run from the beach to transition you will be dry and you by the time you hit the bridge the first time you will be hot. Hope to meet you tomorrow.
