Subject: weight gain
IM losing so much weight this summer. can any body sugest a weighgain program. did not want post on weightlossforum.Have lost 14 pounds this summer.It has been so humid its hard to eat . Just lots of water.

First make sure you don't have any medical problems.  Then.....

Try eating smaller meals 6X a day.  Make sure you get your CARBS and PROTEIN.  Keep track of how many calories you are burning and make sure you are not only replacing them but going over the amount you used.  If you are have trouble with solid foods, add a protein powder to a smoothie.  Go to our smoothie recipe forum--lots of good stuff there.

Ah, the old "Calories In-Calories Expended=Weight Gained" argument. There are some here that contend that if you were female, or African-American, or muscular, or believe that 2+2 doesn't always equal 4, then you wouldn't have this problem.

Evelyn gives good advice. The only way to gain weight is to consume more calories than you expend. Did you have the weight (fat) to lose, or are you losing muscle as well?

Im a white male who stays very active 7days a week, work outside for my job 6days a week,works out sunday and weeknights.ran two miles yesterday .my weight has been up and down like this for years. i eat four meals a day cliffbars and fruitwhen its this hot and in the morning protein shake. :-)
