 Swim
Comments: Breststroked the whole way, need to work on freestyle form. What would you do differently?: Spend more time swimming. Only trained twice prior to this race.  Transition 1
Comments: Need to check equipmenmt during set up. Used a spare helmet and forgot to adjust chin strap. Didn't loosen shoes enough. Need to work on transition. Too SLOOOW! What would you do differently?: Check equipment for fit @ setup.  Bike
Comments: Felt strong coming out of T1. What would you do differently?: Need to work on sprints, keeping cadence up on hills & hydration. Transition 2
Comments: Too slow getting out of shoes. What would you do differently?: Need to work on transitioning. Too slow getting running shoe on.  Run
Comments: Legs felt spongy for the first mile. Did'nt get my wind until after the first mile & 1/2. What would you do differently?: Need to work on brick training. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: Not knowing what to expect. Could have pushed a little harder on the bike. Need to do some serious work on swimming and running. I think the the Destin Crab Trap Tri on Oct 9, might be my next one. Do you guys train localy ? I reside in the Dunwoody /Doraville area. Look forward to seeing you guys in some up coming races. |

We should hook up. I have found it is great to meet other BT'rs at these events. We are doing a group ride Saturday morning at 8am if you'd like to join us. Let me know by sending me a note. Karl |

Ate a good breakfast. 1st Trithlon - a little nervous. Got to race early, and had plenty of time to set up.
