Comments: It was a bit chilly to start. My legs felt a bit heavy and I just could get going let I wanted to...my left foot has been bothering me again...I hope I haven't fractured it again. I didn't run much last week due to this so that may have been the reason behind my heavy legs. Transition 1
Comments: We had to run up a wee bit of a hill to before we were able to mount our bikes. It wasn't too bad though. Bike
Comments: My ride was not as good as I had hoped. I had some technically difficulties. My front tire was rubbing on my break the entire way so I felt like I had a little extra resistance. And...being from Wilmington I am really not used to the hills. Transition 2
Run
Comments: Again...I just didn't feel like my legs up working like they should. It took me a few minutes to find my legs but once I did I felt ok. I had nothing left at the end like usual though...I think the bike took it's toll. Post race
Event comments: Scott and I both enjoyed this race and had a lot of fun. It was small which was a nice change. And...the hills were challenging which is good. I needed that. I placed 1st in my age group and 8th overall for females so needless to say I was very pleased. I would do this one again for sure! Last updated: 2007-04-22 12:00 AM
