Swim
Comments: Good swim, pretty rough. Didn't really have anyone to draft off since it was so spread out. Swim could have been better though. What would you do differently?: Nothing Transition 1
Comments: Good transition, ran without shoes so my feet were hurting quite a bit. What would you do differently?: MAYBE wear shoes next time. Bike
Comments: Rode the bike hard and caught everyone. Passed Victor Plata and some other male pros. Very happy with the bike and how I rode. Everything went right. Had a camera on my almost the whole time so look for me on ABC. What would you do differently?: nothing Transition 2
Comments: Good transition, people were infront of my rack to I had to get around them. What would you do differently?: nothing Run
Comments: Run could have been I think about 3 minutes faster. The last 3 miles the seams from my shoes and the mixture of sand were rupping away at my feet causing me to slow down. Had huge cuts on the sides of my feet. Not good. Started out really good at probably a 5:50/mile pace then hit the hills and slowed to about 6:10/mile. Passed more pros and had a camera on me for the first 2 miles. What would you do differently?: get new racing flats without seams Post race

Wokr up at 3:45am and rode to the transition. Set up transition then got on the bus to get to the boat.
Sat and talked to Andy Potts (we were in a hotel room together) and people were taking a bunch of pictures with us. Did a lot of streching and did a little run before the boat took off.
