Subject: Help with "Actual vs. Planned"
I recently upgraded to a Silver membership, mainly to get a detailed plan for my first Olympic distance race. The plan is great but my data from my training log is not reflected accurately in the "Actual vs. Planned" calender view. As examples, I have a 2200m swim workout that shows up as something around 212y and a 6 1/2 mile run that shows up as lasting 2 minutes. Am I doing something wrong; has anyone else had similar problems? Any help would be really appreciated. Love the site!

The way the AVP Calendar works is that the number reported is Actual-Planned=Number.  If the number is bold red, it's 'negative'...so the main thing to look at is the weekly and monthly totals...you don't want a lot of negative 'bold red' as that is the planned training you didn't to.

So for all the workouts NOT done, you see all the numbers bold negative red.  If you exceeded the planned workout minutes or distance, it is regular postive numbers.

Example: If you have a 50minute planned run and only did 45minutes it will show A-P=x...45-50=-5minutes = -5minutes in BOLD RED that you did not do.

Let me know if this helps, if you can give me some exact month and days that will help as I couldn't easily find your examples if the above doesn't clear it up.

Gotcha. I didn't realize it was reporting only the difference in A v. P. After going back and looking again it all looks right now. You're right, it's easier on a weekly basis than daily. Thanks a ton for the help, Ron. This plan and website are really helping me focus in on my training.

Don't forget you get all the 'actual vs planned' graphs...those are a nice graphical way to see your data...just go to the right 'graphs' link and from the hover choose the actual vs planned option.  You will like that.
