I worry about riding on slick roads, but it does look like th rain has moved out. Guess I'll take my running shoes, too :-)

I just found this website and I'm not anywhere near ready for my first race but I'm down in San Marcos, TX, so it's good to find some contacts in the area.

Welcome to BT! I just recently found this site as well and have really appreciated the people here as well as the resources.

So Pflugerville is your first tri? Mine as well. It looks to be a nice course and hopefully the weather will be kind to us!

Welcome to BT! I'm praying the weather will be good for the race. If this tri gets canceled like Cap Tex I think I'll go into a deep depression

You can't control the weather so don't worry about it.  Just prepare to race in any conditions and you will be fine.  This course holds up well when it rains, so I doubt it will cancel.  CapTex is a dangerous course when it's dry, its almost suicide when it rains.  It was the right call for that race.  Besides, look at it this way, you now own a $100 t-shirt.  How many people can say that?

BTW, for anyone who wants to say hey, I will be wearing
a white/gray top - black bottom tri suit. I have a big
heavy maroon Ozone mtn bike...

Yay for the day finally being here! I definitely hope I see some of you guys out there. I'll be wearing black shorts and a dark purple top, then a grey shell for the bike/run. I have a blue trek road bike.
