Pro  4675     Wisconsin near the Twin Cities metro |  Subject: Pool in Arlington, VA ?I also posted this in the DC forum and hope someone can help me out. I've got a meeting in Arlington, VA next week (and also a week in July) and need to locate a pool where I can pay for daily use. I'll be staying at the Westin Inn near the mall which is close to Glebe Rd (north) and Fairfax Ave. I won't have a rental car so walking distance or short Metro ride would be best. I'll google YMCA for the Arlington area but thought I'd post here to see if any good recommendations come up. I'll be travelling to Arlington for a week in both June and July literally for the rest of my career (another 15 years - just got a promotion to my dream job you pretty much stay in until retirement) so it would be nice to find a decent pool I can rely on for training. Expert 1166 Northern VA | Subject: RE: Pool in Arlington, VA ? I was going to suggest the pool at Washington-Lee. I have not used it, but have heard that you can pay for daily use. I think that it is a little more expensive since you do not live in Arlington county. |

Veteran 334 | Subject: RE: Pool in Arlington, VA ? Here is the link for the Arlington County Pools Washington-Lee is probably your best bet if you're staying near Ballston Commons. It looks like the fee would be $8.00 since you are not a resident. The county pools are okay and will let you get the job done but their nothing fancy.
