Subject: Steelhead - ride needed to event
HELP! I'm travelling the two weeks prior to Steelhead HIM Aug 4th and need a ride from Chicago to St. Joseph. Willing to pay $. Am staying at the Fairmont and will have bike and gear with me - via Detroit, Denver and wherever else I'll be before the big day.

May be willing to share my room in St. Joseph (Silver Beach Hotel) on Fri night.

I can't help you directly, but if you haven't already done it go to the Iron forum, find the thread about Racine Vs. Steelhead trash talk and post this there.  You will get the most visibility among Steelhead people there.  Good luck.
