Pre-race routine:

Laid in bed for an hour listening to the alarm clock go off and not turning it off. After 20 minutes, the dogs got annoyed and went downstairs. Ate some breakfast, shoved everything into the car and hit the road.

I had a really good swim. Not much to say other than some dumb-a$$ in a grey/silver trisuit in my starting wave couldn't swim in a straight line to save his life and kept swiming across me and knocking my goggles off. Passed some people in the wave (two waves, actually) ahead of me and pushed a little harder than I did at St. A's and felt really great getting out of the water. I figured since that swim changed my mood for the day entirely, I may as well quit while I was ahead, so I turned in my chip and switched to jockstrap mode for the rest of the day.
