Comments:

It was super humid. This was tied for my personal best, at a pace of 9:02, however this course was hellaza hilly! I dry heaved three times, twice during the run, and once over the line. Yikes! I had to walk up this hill because my heart rate was in the upper 190 and cardiac arrest seemed nearby. Despite the dry heaves, it was a good race overall.
What would you do differently?:

nothing

Warm down:

cheered on my two friends that were running the race. ate some yummy food.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

hills and the humidity

Event comments:

Overall, it was a good race. it was small, but still drew elite athletes. Good post race buffet and nice goodie bag for a small race.
