Subject: Hello from a newbyI just began training this month after watching my wife complete her first sprint tri last November. I plan to participate in my first mini-sprint tri in Pril and regular sprints in June and July.
My swimming is doing great with an average time for 1000m of 19:55. Biking has only been in the gym on stationary and will be going on the road starting this weekend. my downfall is running. I am currently up to only 3/4 mile constant run and walking the rest of the mile. I plan to up my schedule to 3 days a week to help move me up.
I have shed 13lbs in three weeks and I feel great when I go to work after the gym. I am even starting to miss training on off days.
I look forward to talking with and hearing from everyone as I progress.
