Subject: Triathlon Stores in Metro Detroit
I am new to the tri scene and am looking for a good place to buy gear that I need in the metro Detroit area. Can anyone point me in the right direction. I would prefer to find a good specialty shop that has great service and support, even if they are a bit expensive.

Bikesport in Dearborn has tribikes and wetsuits as well as some other gear. Its owner has done triathlons. They have a website: www.bikesportmichigan.com

Go see Tom at bikesport Michigan, in Dearborn, just down from Chellis Chili on MIchigan Ave.

Folks fly in from all around the world to buy a bike and get fit by Tom. The day I was there they sold a bike to ship to Iraq, got a phone call from England, had someone from Windsor stop in to pick up there bike.

Another recommendation for Bikesport. I buy fom them too, even though I'm in Colorado. Tom has done a crazy number of races, and knows this business better than many others.
