WTB 61-63cm road bike for first-time HIM

I have a 2007 Cannondale Six13 Team 2 in 63cm. The bike was purchased 2 months ago brand new from my LBS. The frame is partial carbon fiber partial aluminum... and the bike is fast and comfortable. I have used it in 2 triathlons and 1 duathlon as well as training. The bike has profile design aero bars already installed. It is black and is in 2 month old condition. The bike already has Look Keo pedals, 2 cages, cannondale spare tire pack, Polar 200cad cycling computer with cadence and heart rate (all of which can remain or be removed). I am not really sure what the bike is worth now, but I know it retails for $2500 without extras the extras.

I guess make me an offer and maybe we can make a deal.

Yikes. Sounds like a great bike, but I think it's out of my price range. My *max* budget for a bike is around $1500 and that would have to include all the extras (of course your bike already has everything..) but I doubt you'd go that low?

If you're still interested, where are you located? Any way I could check the bike out, or maybe I'll just find one at shop around here to check out?

For $1500 you should be able to get a great road bike.  Check out bikesdirect.com they have a great selection.  They even have a tri bike for $1200 I believe with dura-ace and ultegra components.

You can check them out at www.Cannondale.com, it is still a current model bike. I don't think I could let her go for $1500 with everything included. I could remove the computer and the pedals and do $1700 with the cages and the aero bars.

I know that is out of your price range, this bike was out of my price range when I bought it. But, it was worth it. Look at me, I am already taking a major hit on my basically brand new bike and I am upgrading. In my opinion, if you plan on using the bike, its worth it.

Also, how tall are you, what is your inseam, just to make sure this is the right size for you.
