Pre-race routine:

Drove down with my sister- it has been a long time since we have raced together!
Event warmup:

Did a 10 minute easy run- stretched a little

Comments:

Along lakefront- pretty windy, but flat. First mile 6:52, 2cnd mile 14:20..... 3rd mile- I guess I slowed down :)
I havent done a 5K since January and I have been training for longer distances- so was OK with this time.
Was a fun run- Oh and I was 3rd in my AG... Ill take it :)
What would you do differently?:

learn to pace myself better

walked around Festa- got my hardware

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Im just not that fast!!

Event comments:

Fun run- well organized- lots of fruit and water when done and free entrance to Festa

How do you know about all these cool races?  Not like I am in any condition to run one right now being crippled and all.

And saying you're slow?  Puh-lease!
