So. Inspired by another thread, I am thinking that I may try to do something like this for my next anniversary: http://www.texasaa.com/balloon_rides.htm

And was interested in what other romantic, outdoor adventure sort of ideas the rest of you had.

Things like Sky-Diving and Bungee Jumping do not set the mood the way I am after.

Thanks in advance,

How many years?  And do you have kids or will you two be able to get away alone?  How long do you want to celebrate?

Well I would certainly hope that having kids and being able to get away alone would not be mutually exclusive!

By all means if your spouse is not afraid of heights or any such thing that would hamper the enjoyment, this is a great idea.  I had a blast and I can see where it could be turned into something very romantic with some of the flourishes that the website you posted advertises.

Have a wonderful time, whatever you decide, and points to you for promoting the romance.  If you always remember to put alone time and romance as a priority in your marriage you will always reap the rewards!

Best wishes.

Tania,

I was speaking more to the tone of multi-day or if they have very young children, it's a bit harder.  But NO, it should not be mutally exclusive.  You're right there.

2 years ago my wife and I got sailing lessons for each other for our anniversary.  It was quite nice.  Something we could do together, and both really enjoyed.

We have children, and can get away.
