Comments:

Swam straight from buoy to buoy, with little traffic. Everyone else was swimming wide. Felt good, exited strong with plenty of breath.

Shaved over 3 minutes off from first tri.
Transition 1

Comments:

3 minutes faster than first tri T1 + a 1.4 mile run from swim to transition area! Jogged almost the entire distance, feeling good!

Put socks with shoes at shoe stop.

Comments:

I put road slicks on my bike for this race. Wow, big improvement! 12 minutes faster on a *longer* course on my first tri.
What would you do differently?:

Just need more endurance and speed on the bike...

Tummy bug made my stomach cramp up pretty bad. Unable to run a full 60 secs between 1 min walk. However, I still bettered my first tri time by 15 minutes!

Nope, no Shamu kiss, although we did spend the day prior to race day at Sea World. It was a lot of fun!

I am definitely looking forward to my next tri race, I aim to run that 5K in 30 minutes or less!

I haven't figured out which race I'll do next. Unfortunately, a lot of 2005 races aren't posted yet in my area. At the very least I will probably do the Danskin again. I want to tacklet that tough bike course one more time!
