Sorry I never got back to here.

What a wet day...

But finished about 9 minutes faster then last year. (the run was a bit shorter).

If you saw a bald guy with friendly mutten chops and a lime green shirt that was me.

I was the 2nd number called in the lottery (to bad no $150 helmets this year).

Oh man, I didn't realize there was a lottery... I was too cold to stick around.  I'm waiting around for the results to see how I did.  That swim was NUTS!!!  Couldn't see a damn thing.  I don't know if I'll do that one again next year... the whole shuttle bus thing was kind of a pain.  Othewise, if it were nice weather it would be a fun race.

Besides work issues I was concerned about the shuttle. I like having the truck nearby, I always seem to forget something or like the thought of staying dry when needed.

I was wondering how everyone was doing, the wife and I had a real nice run in the rain out at Maybury SP this morning.

What happened with the swim?

There was a pretty good fog on the lake.

The swim was something out of the Twilight Zone.  Like a foot of fog from the surface of the lake so I couldn't see the buoys... or anything else.  Just gray water, gray fog, gray sky.  Pretty weird.

O'kay, now I can see how that would be a little strange.

Hope I see some race reports on the rest of the race. It's a race a may try to do in the future.

Sushi, how was your swim time?

Looking at my watch. my swim was 2 minutes faster than last year. It is a triangle course and the first leg was the worst for me, the second leg you could see the tops of the trees on the island and head toward them, the last leg you could see the boathouse lights and head for that.

Not sure on my swim time since they *still* haven't posted results.   I've been anxiously refreshing the website all day.  As soon as they do, I will post my race report, I promise!

Yes, still no times. I am a bit worried the weather may have messed up the system.

If it was run by 3D, they seem to get the times out by 10 am the following Monday.

So much for 10. I see there still not listed. Hope all is well with there timing.

I must be the most impatient person on the planet... but I'm waiting for this and two separate grades in courses... its driving me crazy!

It was not run by 3d it was time by Gault Race Management. This is really not good. 32hrs later and still no results.
