Swim
Comments: Felt good. Much better then last year. I had a gel about 10 minutes before I started and I'm sure this has helped my time as well. What would you do differently?: Try and swim faster Transition 1
Bike
Comments: Good ride. more training will only improve this time What would you do differently?: Train more. Practise putting on my shoes with wet feet. Get hold of some fluid replace drinks for my water bottle. I think this will help with my energy for the run. Transition 2
Run
Comments: Feel like crap after ride. Tried to start slowly and pick up the pace as I went along. Was faster then last time at this race but need to improve more. What would you do differently?: Just try and run faster Post race
Warm down: Eat heaps of fruit and sports drink. Tried to do some stretching but need to do more. Went for a walk in the afternoon and then did some streching, this was good. Event comments: Good race. My training has paid off with a 5min drop compared to last year and this has spurred me on for the rest of the season and for Noosa. Last updated: 2004-10-17 12:00 AM
