This happened in Lancaster SC last Sunday at the end of a very long trek across a lot of the country.

I still haven't heard anymore details of the accident, other than a van hit the main organizer of the ride and 1 other person and both were killed.

that's terrible how a good day out for a ride with friends can turn so drastically. that's so terrible to hear and my thoughts are with the family and friends.
another reason i try to find any trail, so i dont have to ride with cars. people on the road are just dumb. biker or not, watch people drive and i think over and over what if there was a biker there, or someone walking.
