Hi, Twisnibbins...

I've been lurking around here again...looking at scary pictures of cheerleaders with mustaches and fried goodies. I found a picture for COJ's Beat the Picture that I thought might just fit in with all your lovely jpgs, so I thought I'd share (out of gratitude for your help in choosing between ice cream and wine last week).

One day.... me, a credit card, a trolley and an American supermarket

Uh...here a trolley can be found in quaint tourist trap cities such as San Francisco...I guess in the land down under, that would be a shopping cart...

Sal - Thanks for interpreting! I was trying to figure out where the trolley came in. LOL

Cat - What do you call the front of the car, where the engine goes? And the back, where you store "stuff"?

Hi .  I'm not even going to bother trying to catch up since I've been MIA for two days.  Lemme know if there's anything really important I need to know.  In the meantime, I can give you this based on the shopping cart thing I just read...

As a northeasterner transplanted to the south one of my favorite "southernisms" is "buggy"... yup, that's what a shopping cart is called here.  I also enjoy "git yer picture made" as opposed to my "take a picture" and the ever-popular "Oh bless your heart..."

Hey, everyone!

Well, we had our first TEAM tonight, but it was all introductory stuff, so we did not work
out.  And, by the time that we finished, my stomach was really grumbling, so I decided to
head home and spend time with the dog.

So... we have this super-wide screen because the page numbers do not wrap around.  I'm
rambling a bit in this e-mail so that I can do a lot of shift-enters, rather than relying on wrapping
the text... is this any easier to read?  Rather than continually scrolling to the right / left?

Or a buggy is what a horse pulls around....

Yeah, see.... The first time I heard that (from a friend), I was completely confused. Of course, there was nothing to put it in context. It went kind of like this:

She said, "So I put the pot in the boot."
I replied, "Um. Huh?"

No, no, in the Southern US, a shopping cart is definitely called a buggy.
As in, "Is that all y'all's buggy?"
and, "Yonto go shopping, I'll push the buggy"

How about "mashing the keys on the keyboard"?
I spent five years living in Georgia (loved it, actually), but needed to learn many new phrases.
