Run
Comments: This run was great. I ran with my friend from work and this was her first race, besides the peachtree. It is a fast course, and there was a ton police support and volunteers. This is a great small race, well supported, and sweet tomoatoes provided post race food. The 10k and i have not had a lot of success in the past so i was determined to break the 1 hour mark. My first couple of miles were much faster than i normally run. Then by mile 4 i had to back off the pace a bit. I kept a nice fast pace after that and added a couple of sprints. I felt like i left almost everything out on the run course. I am very pleased with this time. Next 10k will need to be faster. What would you do differently?: Run faster. Post race
Warm down: I cheered my friend over thr finish line, got some snacks, walked over to starbucks and headed home. What limited your ability to perform faster: Just the ability to go faster! Last updated: 2007-11-01 12:00 AM
