Pre-race routine:

Hot oatmeal, then raced down to the park to meet up with a bunch of BT'ers :)

Regimom, Whizzzzzzzzz, Coredump,CrazyEddie, DrewB,DickDime...


Event warmup:

This was hard. I got to the park 45 minutes before the race and it was below freezing. We stayed inside South High School until 10:00

(3-4 minutes)Did an easy jog for a couple minutes, with one sprint, then jogged in place.

Comments:

Went out at slow pace until about 1.5 miles when I felt warmed up and left Drew and Linda. Got a sidestitch about 3.5 miles into the race. Kept running and it went away. Sped up a little for last mile, then sprinted through the finish alley.
What would you do differently?:

Event comments:

Cold as hell, but I managed to run well, and NO ASTHMA!!! I was most worried about having another attack, since the last race where I was a mess at the end.

Nice race!  I hate cold weather running, but sometimes you gotta just suck it up and do it.  Still, I'd rather run in hot weather, must be an "old guy" thing!  Extra yahoo @ the no asthma deal!
