Comments:

Best 10K time yet. Felt good enough after the race that I almost ran the 5K that was about to start.
What would you do differently?:

Not drink the free Starbucks before the race, especially after drinking a cup of home brew before I left the house.
Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster:

I think I was a little dry.

Yep, coffee will dehydrate you. I often wonder why places like Starbucks will give out free stuff like that at races. I know some people need that early morning kick.

The BIG thing that puzzles me is how so many races will offer Coke products by the gallon. I know, Atlanta is Coke's headquarters. But Coke also makes Powerade so why not offer that instead of Coke and Diet Coke. What serious athlete will drink a can of Coke after their triathlon?! I mean really!!!

Good job on your race. Your time is fabulous and you got a PR!!! You were flying!

I agree with you, Bethany. It sure did keep my hands warm, but I had to pee twice before the race!

Nice time! Yeah the course wasn't too scenic... well except for the highway.

I can't believe you had the coffee.
