Comments: Run felt great Post race
Warm down: Re-hydrated as I walked and slowly jogged to prevent tightening. At home, took an ice bath and wife convinced me to get a pedicure since she said they put your feet in a hot tub with jets and also massage you calves. Since the arches of my feet and calves were the sorest, I conceded. It was the BEST 30 minutes of my life. I will now get a pedicure for any race of 10 miles. Last updated: 2004-11-08 12:00 AM

Age Group Rank = 7/20
Approached race as first long training session. Planned on maintaining my HR with a min. 158 and max 168.
Woke up at 6am; Breakfast was PB and Banana sandwich and fruit. Sipped on H20 and gatorade. Got in a good stretch at home before leaving for the race.
Arrived at race 20 minutes before start. Warmed up with about a mile jog and stretch.
