Event warmup:

light jog, stretch
Swim
  • 56m 50s
  • 1500 meters
  • 03m 47s / 100 meters
Comments:

Navigating was bad...could not swim in a straight line
What would you do differently?:

Better marking of route. Need to know how to swim straight. that killed me.
Transition 1
  • 03m 28s
Comments:

Transition wasnt that bad...I didnt have to worry about a wetsuit though.
Bike
  • 1h 33m 55s
  • 25 kms
  • 15.97 km/hr
Comments:

Could have done better...not bad for the first run though. I'm not a cyclist
What would you do differently?:

Train better for hills and get to know my bike
Transition 2
  • 01m 54s
Comments:

Not bad, easy transition
Run
  • 1h 12m 57s
  • 6 miles
  • 12m 10s  min/mile
Comments:

Wow...I didnt know I ran so slow...I guess I was tired, endurance just wasnt there.
Post race
Warm down:

Light jog, then slow simple stretch...walker around for a bit

What limited your ability to perform faster:

endurance...I was tired out of the water because I put too much into it since i couldnt swim straight. I added way to much distance to it.

Event comments:

It was a good time for my first real one in an open water setting

Congratulations!  Great triathlon.  I have one question though, you put in a distance of 25 Kms for the bike leg; is that correct or should that not be 25 miles?
