Pre-race routine:

Had breakfast, 1 cup of coffee, and water. Drove to Courtney;s house.

Event warmup:

Went from car to get number and shirt then back to the car.

Comments:

As always, i hate the 10K. I have been very unfocused over the holidays and have not hydrated well. So i decided last minute to do this run, for $5 you cant beat it. I started out great, but then the strong winds got me and slowed my pace. I only walked through the water stations. Plus there was a strong fuel smell and fumes on aprt of the run that made me very nautious. So the time was not great, but i did push it. I need to work better on speed to crush a 10K.

What would you do differently?:

Run faster.

walked around with Leslie, brett, and Courtney.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Strong winds and getting out of run fitness a bit since my half mary.
