  • Comments: it was my first race... didn't have to many expectations... the coordination of the race was great.. it was a good time... this is a race i will continue to do

  • Comments: For an inaugural event, I was impressed with it. They managed an early season race, in a pool with 260 racers. Very good stuff. Plus the food was YUMMY!!! The most exciting part is that I was the first Non-Elite to finish! How cool is that? And I beat 2 Elite Males too. Let's just hope it's not a flash in the pan.

  • Comments: Great way to start the 2007 race season and my triathlon career :) Going to have to work out moving faster in the transition area. Enjoyable first experience. Happy with a top 5 place in my age group.

  • Comments: Course was WELL marked on the streets, and turns were also staffed with volunteers. Very helpful. Since this was the first Triathlon in Smithfield, I wondered if it would have some glitches, be unorganized, etc. But everything was great -- easy for athletes, good food, plenty of volunteers. Weather was perfect tri weather -- I was very grateful...it could've been ugly like the week before!
