  • Comments: Excellent race. Great course. Challenging enough to keep the experienced triathlete happy, easy enough for the first time triathlon to get an idea of what it's like. Nothing fancy on the course or post-race activities, but it's well organized and friendly. Highly recommended for either a tune-up or a first-timer.

  • Comments: GREAT RACE...WELL PUT TOGETHER AND ORGANIZED.....I WOULD LIKE TO SEE MORE POST RACE STUFF IN THE FUTURE.... THIS RACE WILL BE ON MY LIST EVERY YEAR.....

  • Comments: I had a lot of fun at this race. The people were friendly, the course was beautiful, especially the bike, and I won a nice backpack! (a race # raffle) The organizers did a great job, with the one exception of mistakenly classifying the women's winner as a man! (Poor girl; they did clear it up.) I would definitely do this race again. They have added a fifth race to the series, but it falls on the same day, September 29th, as the Montauk Half, which I'm doing this year.

  • Comments: Well organized, comprehensively-timed local race. Fantastically scenic course in state park. This course would be rated hilly so it's not a good one for a first-timer who isn't mentally prepared for the hills and run is on trails, which I love but I know is not everyone's cup-of-tea. Happy with my T times - more work to do elsewhere.
