  • Comments: Well that is it. One more Freezeroo series in the book. Made all six races and so did Mike. Ken was hung up with traveling a few but will get a ranking since he got four in. Thanks Mike and Ken hanging with me. Its good training and I enjoy us running them together. It is what running should be in the cold of winter. Ken thanks for driving especially today. One more run and a indoor tri mid March and rest from racing till 4/29/12 for the Rochester half. I have been going at it every other weekend or more since September.

  • Comments: Made it though this series well. No great moments just some fun runs. Missed Julie for the last three. Mike for the last one. Ready for a week off the legs. Maybe some swim, maybe some bike.

  • Comments: Well its the end of the Freeeroo series for 2008-9. Colder then last year. Dam global warming. The 5K at 4 degrees was the coldest I ran in and hope its my last. New years race was the worse road condition felt like I ran 10 miles in a 7 mile space. 8-miler was one of my best mental and physical efforts without coaching from Mike. Met a few new people. Got to know the Montana Milers Club here in Canandaigua. I made all 6 races. Thanks Y and Will. Thanks to the Greater Rochester Track Club for putting them on. Thanks for driving to them Ken. Thanks to Mike for dragging me into more running I can almost say I like it. Sorry boys you didn't make them all. Off to the RIT indoor Tri in a couple weeks. Need to bring the swim volume up and hope for warmth to hit the hills on the bike. Thanks for reading but like the best of the race this report is over.

  • Comments: This series is put on by runners for runners. They do a great job for the most part. I did 4 out of the 6 races. I should have done them all.

  • Comments: Well Mike and I made the whole series. 6 races every other week. It's been great way to stay in shape and improve my running during the winter. What made it better is we were able to drag some other BTer out in the process. Thanks to all who made it out. The more the merrier. I feel good with all my finishes. My goals are set just right. Thanks to ken for driving to the last four races, Y for making it possible and Mike for pushing me and running when I could have used some company (you to Ken). I even got a compliment from another unknown runner that I finished today race well and looked good. Hey I'll take that. Thanks. Good to get to know a few people also doing the races.
