  • Comments: Good event - could have used a few more volunteers particularly to oversee safety for the kid's event where too many cars were interfering with the kid's bike course. I was pleased with my race results and would recommend this event to others.

  • Comments: Small local event, lots of focus on the kid's event. I misheard the awards lady or she read the list wrong. I won my AG (first time ever!) and took home a bronze (colored) medal instead of my gold! Oh well.

  • Comments: Race was well organized and it was great to see some friends that I have not seen for awhile. Had a great time. First time I have won the overall in a race in a few years.

  • Comments: I am a little picky because I am a race director, but it was good. There were a few minor traffic flow issues that I saw that could have been corrected, but overall, it was a great race. I would like the county to fix the potholes on that bike course. It was ridiculous!

  • Comments: Great race. My goal time was 1:09:30 - and 5th place in my age group. I cam in 6th place with a 1:10:27 so I think my same goal can be acheived by next year.

  • Comments: I went into this race with the intention of finishing, and still being able to walk the next day. Also, I was hoping to get the race done in under 2 hours. I really surprised myself and did it in under 1:45:00. I feel really good so far, just tired. I would love to have someone at the finish line cheerng for me next time. My parents fell asleep after I left the hotel in the morning, so the family overslept, didn't get to the race until after the road was closed. Actually, they didn't even leave the hotel until after I had finished the race (partially because they knew they wouldn't make it before the road was closed). It would have been nice to have my hubby there, too, but someone's gotta go make the money to pay the entrance fee for the race, and buy me lots of cool tri gear. :) I did kind of expect a phone call sometime a few days before the race to wish me good luck, though. But there, again, is the life of the globe-traveler. I'm not even sure he realizes what day it is at home at
