  • Lots of volunteers to help?Yes
  • Plenty of drink stations?Yes

  • Post race activities? Good
  • Overall course based on my ability: Just right

  • Comments: I think this is one of the best run events in Boulder County. Of all those I've done (tris, 10Ks, 5Ks, half-marathon, etc.) this is very near if not at the top.

  • Comments: Despite some oganization issues (the arrows in the transition area pointing the wrong way) I loved this race! I cannot wait to do it next year!

  • Comments: For my first triathlon, it was great! I've attended this event maybe fifteen times, so it felt really comfortable and familiar. Aside from my swim anxiety, I felt calm and ready for the event. I was also really pleased at how open the race director was to including wheelchair athletes, and how much time and thought she spent with me and others to make sure it was a good race for us. Obviously there are a few things that need to be fixed (the run course, get that port-a-potty off the sidewalk), but for the first time including wheelchair athletes, it was super.

  • Comments: Great time for first tri. Well organized, supportive and fun race. Will do again next year. Mentally did pretty good considering everyone else in my swim heat were waaaay faster bikers and runners (damn me and my fast swimming!). Didn't freak out when everybody (and I mean everybody) passed me :). Just ran my own race.

  • Comments: I highly recommend this race to first time triathletes. The pool swim makes it much more lowkey and less stressful than an open water swim. The volunteers were all very helpful, the traffic controllers all cheering on the participants was nice. Only negative comment would be security around the transition area seemed somewhat lacking. Especially with the wave starts anybody could just go in and out of the transition area.

  • Comments: Overall I want to achieve a sub 80 minute tri. I am convinced I can recapture 1 minute from the bike, 1 minute from the run, and 1 minute from transitions (total). If I can then get 3-4 minutes from the swim - I'm there.
