  • Comments: this is my second year and I will be back to beat my times. Although this is classed as challenging I feel it is a great course and fast too - note what goes up must come down.

  • Comments: I heard good things about this event and they were all true - it seemed like the whole LR POA came out to support!! Great execution as usual from FS series. This really is a great race to end season on as long as not an A race! Definitely want to do this next year.

  • Comments: Ok - best because it is my only at this point. Well run event by FS staff. Great neighborhood volunteer crew! I was very happy with my performance for my first tri. Training went well, and I grew as an athlete and a person as a result of this effort. I believe I can return next spring to an event even better prepared - and probably not eligible for Clyde status. ;)

  • Comments: Thanks to all of the volunteers, they were great! FS always puts on great races and I appreciate all of their help this year. I had a lot of fun. The medals we got for this race were awesome! I've never gotten one before for finishing.

  • Comments: It's a very nice swim. The bike is fun if not suited to my strengths. The run is hard, but I'm came away feeling good about the challenge. The hotdogs for everyone was nice. Defintiely a lot more welcoming than a lot of races. Parking is difficult, though.

  • Comments: Once again the folks at Finish Strong did a bang up job, and the name is apropos as they did Finish Strong with this one!

  • Comments: Issues: Need a couple more people on the bike course to direct folks around the housing development. Also, the police on the bike course could have more actively directed us. Nice course with hills. Nice lake with beach start. Tight transition area with hill immediately following mount line. Fun bike course if you don't take a wrong turn. Fun run course as you can see the whole race unfold in front of you. I would do this race again.

  • Comments: I think it's a challenging but fun course. As spread out as the parking is they really handle the logistics well. I didn't get to stay for the food because my son had a soccer game, but they were grilling out for us. Hate I missed that. Could have used volunteers at one more turn on the bike course.
