  • Comments: The only bummers were after the race. The line was beer was WAAAAY long. I gave up my advantage getting there early from only doing the 10 mile and waited for my friend, dumb. Then the line to exit the parking ramp was really slow. I still don't know why, but it was slow enough our paid parking tickets had expired, we were in line so long. Why do I keep signing up for these mega-big races? :)

  • Comments: I like the Monster Dash. The crowds, the costumes. All good fun. And this year, it was nice to veer off at 10 miles and miss the mile 11 hill.

  • Comments: I think that Team Ortho could make some improvements to this race. There were a TON of people, and I don't think they were quite prepared to handle everyone. I heard bad things about the shuttles and having enough post-race stuff. I think that they will learn from it for next year, though.

  • Comments: It was a good race for me personally. i set a good PR in my opinion. The race had a lot of people which was a big draw back.

  • Comments: Hot and cold on this race. Very good try on the part of the race organization. Good food, nice maps and pre-race info, great water stops. However, some grievances: 1. Packet pickup, pain to get to the convention center (on a Friday..) and really unnecessary since they didn't have a real expo, 2. Location: difficult parking and the first 1.5 miles were VERY slow due to crowd and limited space. 3. Ditch the iPod friendly thing, I just don't see the benefit.
