  • Comments: Overall PR'd for a 3 mile run even if it was 2.8, pace close to 7" is my best run and happy with Run 2 also. Bike not as good as I'd want it, goal was to average 21 but no conditions were windy and rough for everyone. Good race, no frills, only downside was long cycle to bathroom. At least the men could go and pee near a tree, the ladies had to drop trou just before the race. A better placed transition would have avoided that.

  • Comments: Even though I won my AG, it is kind of bittersweet seeing as how half the people didn't show up. I guess I can take pride in the fact that I turned up in crap conditions when everyone else bagged it. Does that make me tough? I'd like to think so ;P thanks to my hubby and son for standing out in the rain to cheer me on!

  • Comments: I was kind of nervous and had no idea what to expect. I never ran before and really only started running (not on treadmill) in March of this year. This is the first race of my life. As matter of fact, it's the first time that I am competing, ever. I had no idea that I was placed 2nd in my age group b/c I went straight to the bathroom and didn't expect to be placed. My son James is the one who told me about it and that's how I knew and got my plaque.
