  • Comments: This course was really nice. My biggest gripe is with the individual starts, going 3 seconds after the person in front of you. This makes it so you have no idea how you stand in the race and they put the Male 20-24 as one of the last groups, so we were having to pass people of all speeds constantly. Also, they had scheduled bus times to take us to the start. I was doing a warmup on my bike at the transition and they said the last bus was leaving soon (way before when it was scheduled) so I had to cut my warmup short, then they were running late at the start, so I had a long time (I forget how long, but it was well over an hour) to sit in a poorly shaded grass field with nothing but my swim trunks.

  • Comments: The down river swim is nice, especially on the ego. The bike is OK, although the pavement was pretty rough, especially onthe hilly section we rode twice. The run is fine. It's hilly, hot , and not a lot of shade, but everybody's got to do the same course. It's not unfair. However, after the run ahs totally kicked my ass the last 2 years, I probably won't be returning next year

  • Comments: I was pretty impressed with the race organizers. I thought that it was a great triathlon. They could have shortened the wait time before the swim, but everything else was well run. I am also very pleased with my overall time b/c I wasn't expecting to stay under 3. I will be back next year.

  • Comments: Great race in a beautiful location. I will do this rae again even with the weird race course that includes numerous sets of stairs and a few challenging hills.

  • Comments: Even though it was a hard day I really had a great time. Team Magic is a great company and they do awesome work. I will do this race again and I am coming back with vengence. Oh and hot tri girl if you read this and we did have a moment give me a call!!!

  • Comments: Great race, Highly recommended for first timers and experienced alike. This one will go on my list for regular attendance. The volunteers here were incredible. It was hot for sure, but a quick look at the weather will tell you that it was hot everywhere in the US yesterday.

  • Comments: Team Magic again. Great race. Great post race food but I was too lazy to get in line. It is a fun course. It is not easy. The stairs can get you. The heat can get you. Butit is a pretty town...well done and I am going back next year to kick it out!

  • Comments: I would recommend this race (minus the stairs). Chattanooga has really grown up the last few years and become a neat town. Nothing anyone can do about the heat.
