  • Comments: This was a great first marathon, so good, I signed up for next year's race too! The discount helped, but I KNOW I can go sub-4 hour next year!

  • Comments: It's a great race. The hills make it pretty tough but my newness (1st marathon) made it a bit tougher.

  • Comments: Huge crowd, lots of energy on most of the course except the late stages. Post race fare was average. I don't collect them or care that much, but finisher's medal was pretty mediocre: a round medal that looked like a gold record. Ooh, very original.

  • Comments: It was a wonderful race. More hills than I expected but it wouldn't have been an issue making my goals had it been about 10 degrees cooler.

  • Comments: Saw towels in the trash and realized they had been giving out wet ones to finishers, but must have ran out by the time I got there. It would have felt nice....

  • Comments: The race was extremely well planned and organized. Great volunteers, excellent Bands in route, plenty of goodies. And post country music concert to boot. Overal outstanding race prep.

  • Comments: Medic tents at beginning didn't have suncreen. Otherwise, support was very good and detailed. Neumerous water stops (it seemed like every 3-4 miles) all with both water and electrolye drink.

  • Comments: I would like to run this again knowing what I know now. It was awesome to stand at the start in corral number 7 and look back and not sse the end of the runners.

  • Comments: One of the big draws to the Country Music Marathon is a rewarding concert from a quality performer later that night, but this year it was Steve Cropper. Who's that?? Come on, this is Nashville. I'm not a giant country music fan but I do know that some of the best artists live in Nashville. Why not get them? More importantly, some of the streets were too narrow for the number of runners. Overall, I really did like the race, but I don't think the expense of traveling there from Colorado is justified.

  • Comments: Great event,orginizers did a great job. Highly reccomend, train for hills, lots of hills. Great concert to wrap up the evening.

  • Comments: Nashville is beautiful. The fans were great starting out, but they really need a plan to spread them out a bit. Lots of stretches of silence. The bands were okay, but I was wishing for more noise, music, etc. Good race overall.

  • Comments: I enjoyed the race thoroughly. I was in the last 100 to finish and there was still a lot of support left for us strugglers. The bands and cherrleaders were still there and I think they gave us a little extra attention. All the drink stations were still well stocked and the volunteers were great.

  • Comments: I am done with Nashville as a full marathon. Besides the insane hills, I was not happy both times with the 'rock and roll' on course...they hardly played and some of them played lame songs, the number of crowd is low for 2nd half...and parts of the course that are just boring. Maybe NYC spoiled me but it sure is great running thru different areas with a million people cheering you on. Also, 75% of runners/walkers at Nashville are doing the 1/2 and they just clog up the first 9 miles.
