  • Comments: Wonderful hometown race in a lovely setting. Police and volunteers controlled course very well and post-race perks (awards, food and drink) are top-notch; high recommend this venue!

  • Comments: A gem of a local sprint. Well organized, nice course, good music and an announcer at the finish belting out everybodys name as they crossed the finish line. My new favorite sprint in Central Wisconsin, can't believe we've never done this one before.

  • Comments: The Waupaca community does a great job running this event. With around 800 participants (long and short) the event is fun and well attended, but never crowded. There are volunteers all along the course and everything was clearly marked and set up early. Also a fun finish line with a announcer calling out nearly every name and hometown. Close parking is limited so come early, or plan a short ride to the transition area.

  • Comments: The emcee is good -and keeps it entertaining. Fun race and I tend to do well in it.

  • Comments: Was great to be part of a team in my first Trithlon with Pam. Was very happy not to let the team down with a sub-30 minute 5k. See report from Pam at crea0029.

  • Comments: The only thing that would have made this race better would have been finishers' medals. The course was too hard for my ability at this point but I used all I had and got through it. There was over 200 volunteers that were absolutely wonderful taking care of making sure the route was marked and maning two waterstations on the bike route. There were people along side of the road that were cheering on everyone which was great and kept me moving. I could seriously do some good work on this course if I train harder. I just need to work on it!
