  • Comments: Great value, a tech shirt, pre and post race food/activities for kids, great volunteers, what a value for $25. This was my 2nd, did 5k last year, will be an annual race.

  • Comments: Overall, I think the Rodeo Run is a good race with lots of participation. The run is the start of the official Rodeo Parade, which means there were a decent amount of spectators. The only complaint I could offer is that the post-race organization was a bit chaotic. It wasn't clear where to go for water/food/goodies/etc. I guess the size of the event (over 10,000) makes it difficult, but big signs would have been a big help to direct traffic.

  • Comments: Great race! The long overpass in the middle of the race was pretty cool, tough, but good.I liked running through town. The finish past Minute Maid was nice. The cheering squads were nice but the families that came out in the neighborhood at the turnaround were great. I bet they thought we were crazy! lolo Great motivation...

  • Comments: this was a really large race with over 7000 participants between the 5K and 10K. created a lot of congestion at the swag-getting-area after the finish but i don't know how that would be avoided. http://w3.conocophillips.com/rodeorunresult/IndividualDetail.aspx?r... heres a cool video clip of my finish. its not so easy to see but halfway through you see a guy step into the frame from the left to retrieve a dropped hat. he bends right in front of me, i mean, i could have taken him out if i'd wanted to. i'm wearing a grey sleeveless t-shirt and my race number is low cause i was using my belt. you see me look right because i hear a woman start bitching very loudly at him which i thought was punishment enough.

  • Comments: Good race for my FIRST TIME ever running 6 miles willingly by myself (ie...military before)...so, post race day, legs REALLY tight...need a massage
