  • Comments: I finished and that was my goal so I hit it. Additionally I wasn't DFL which is nice. Living in NH and commuting 3 hours a day has made training difficult. I just need to make it happen. I had a blast but I can do better.

  • Comments: Keith and Endorfun put on great races and every year they get better and better. Tech t-shirts are great as are the finisher medals! Having Ron & Mike from BT at the event was special and really added to the experience. I met lots of BTers as the circle grows and saw many friends I haven't seen since last season. BT really rocks and makes racing so much better!

  • Comments: Nothing was better then being there with Mike and Madie. Ron and Carol too! If Y and Will were here even better. I enjoyed meeting people I have chatted with for so long. Pat was like the first person to inspire me even if it was to yell at me for telling her to get some sleep. I must of met a dozen or more BTer's, all great people. It was the best aide station ever! The race is put togather well and the volunteers and staff are great. Wish there was a little more room at the finish line as it is crowded in the woods. The lake is beautiful and scenery on the courses are awesome. The "bunk house" left a little to be desired and isn't what it is cracked up to be. We had fun at the pub.

  • Comments: This was the most fun I've had at a race! We were all in a happy silly mood and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The rely team of Alyie, SIL and Tomo - rocked this race!! 2nd place and they had 1st in the bag. A little mishap. Having my husband participate in the same event was great. I knew he was a little worried about me and knew he was cheering for me. Having my training buddy along - was awesome. TC you're the best. Thank you to all of you who have been sooooo supportive. You're inspire made this happen!! The volunteers were great - especially the kids. This wouldn't happen with out them.

  • Comments: Love the Endorfun races, this was no exception. The course was challenging and well-supported. I was starving at finish, but I guess I forgot that free food was available. I went to Cu Na Mara where I ordered a burger and fries, and drank a bunch of water and ice tea. By the time it arrived I was feeling awful again, queasy with cold sweats and not at all good. I availed myself of there restroom facilities twice and emptied out, completely. Still feeling nasty, I got my meal to go and tried to nibble heavily salted french fries while I made the drive home. It took about an hour to slowly nibble down the fries and burger. By then I was feeling a lot better, but couldn't stay awake on the drive. I pulled off 93 into a carpooling lot and slept for about 45 minutes. As I write this I realize that I should've gone to the medical tent and gotten taken care of, but didn't. I suppose it all comes of not thinking clearly and never having experienced this type of thing before. I

  • Comments: Tough course. Much worse than Cranberry. I prepared well for Cranberry last Aug. Consider Mooseman is the first major event of the season with less than enough (outside) bike rides, I did ok. Only ~15 min more than Cranberry (Moose has ~ a mile longer bike course, too). This is my first time on this course and I don't really have a time goal. My only goal was to make it up Devil Hill and I am happy to be able to do that.

Special Thanks to my wonderful Wife who always supports and encourages me. Thanks to all of my friends at RWOL & BT who keep me motivated, focused and entertained....you all Rock! Tomo (Hey son!) and MIke, my new Tri coach starting Monday! You two are too much!!! I had FUN and completed my First OLY and will use this for experience and learning lessons for my second.

  • Comments: ok, all things considered, I am very pleased with today's performance. I have a lot of room for improvement, but sh*t, it's only been 5 months since major surgery and there was a point when I thought I'd never do these again. Never mind the arthritis issues.

  • Comments: It was a hard race indeed. I got over confident; I didn’t approach it seriously enough and ended up paying for it. (I deserved a bad race) My body was also still fatigue from FL 70.3 not to race but yes to post a fast time. I also made some stupid mistakes but live and learn, you can’t ever be so relax that you lose focus of the ultimate goal. I got smack back to reality and it is a good thing. Achieving good results is just the result of hard worn and constant race preparation. But we have to be consistent ALL the time in order to avoid having a bad day. Finally it is impossible to have good races all the time, and we’ll always have good days and bad days. Yes a good race are awesome and makes us feel cool and regain motivation, but bad races are great because it enables us to continue learning, keep us real and honest and most important to keep us hungry and to continue pursuing our dreams and strive for THAT perfect race : THANK YOU BTers for supporting me :)

  • Comments: This race was a blast and I hope to do it again next year. It made it more fun to see people from BT. Especially since my family couldn't be there. They do a great job with this race despite the horrible weather!
