  • Comments: I like the varied run course. I enjoy the bike course and scenery in spite of a fairly rough surface. The post race activites are good, and I really like the ICE CREAM. Lots of folks stick around and there's time for socializing. Everyone is very friendly. Good race

  • Comments: This is a wonderful race. Nice couse, pretty, well organized, lots of activities, especially for the younger family members, and lots of great post race food. (If you like milk and ice cream and fresh fruit and bagels :) ) The only thing that keeps this race from being a 5 is the less than clear lake water. (but that's pretty much par for the course in this part of the country)

  • Comments: I really liked this race, it was very well organized and run. There were a lot of drink stations during the event and food/drink after the race. Very well done, I'd definitely do it again!

  • Comments: This is a fun race and one that I enjoy. My goal was to improve over last years time, and I beat it by 5-6 minutes so I'm happy with that.

  • Comments: I really enjoyed the venue, and the people were super friendly and helpful. I like the chip timing (assuming they post the results). I enjoyed all the free food after the race. Ice cream, lots of fruit, ice cream, lots and lots of water and drinks, and milk, did I mention ice cream? My first open water swim was a total success. The water was a very nice temperature. No wetsuit - and I don't like cold water. The bike course is rough in places. I liked the cross country aspect of the run. I'm planning to do this race again next year.

  • Comments: This was a great event and would want to do it again. I'm learning the techniques on the swim and everytime I've entered a race I come out with so much more from experience. I love this sport and it's awesome to a part of this community.
