  • Comments: Love this race and venue. Lake and surrounding area is AMAZING! They had a hard time getting volunteers for the event this year, which I knew going in... may have been a little better if they had been able to close at least a couple of roads, but overall it is a great venue.

  • Comments: For my first race I think I did pretty good. I was actually surprised that I managed to finish 3rd out of 10 in my age group, but sure enough they called me up for an award. Looking at the results online it looks like I actually finished 4th out of 11, but the guy who got 1st overall was in my age group so I guess they dropped it down to the next three guys. I'll take it. :) Big thanks to all the Tri Wisconsin Triathlon Team who help newbies like me make it to the start and finish line. Awesome group of folks.

  • Comments: Bad post race. Awards started hour and 15 after they were supposed to and it was very informal. most recipients were not there to collect there awards due to the untimely manner

  • Comments: I had an absolute blast at this race. Super organized, great spectator support, a beautiful course that was just the perfect amount of challenge without being overwhelming. I couldn't have asked for a better first triathlon experience...and I can't wait to do more!!!

  • Comments: It was nice hanging out with my fellow Donks and partaking in a little tri action. I did get a little sunburned, even though I did apply plenty of Bullfrog when I woke up. Special thanks to Dr. & Mrs. TriDDS (their real names) for hosting the post-race party.

  • Comments: happy with my results for my first tri beat my goal of 1:15:00 but, didnt place and its frustrating to only be 1:30 out of 3rd when i know i can run! great job donkeys!!! it was great to finally meet a large portion of the team!

  • Comments: For the first triathlon for me, I guess I am pretty happy. Don't have any previous information to base performance evaluations on. I finished, and I was standing. I have NO idea on nutrition components, but I suppose that will hopefully come with time. My transitions are awful. I continue to turn left in the water. I will, however, continue with triathlons - I am pretty hooked, and loved every minute of it (except the beginning of the run). Distances continue to be determined. Had a GREAT time with the other donkeys after race, and congrats to triDDS for WINNING the Clydesdale division!!

  • Comments: I had a BLAST! I achieved all my goals for this race. I have to say, it is so much more fun when you are there with people you know instead of in the midst of strangers, as I've been in other races. The support is amazing. One thing I noticed in doing this...once I started, the nervousness was gone. I was just doing what I do. Now I just need to get faster. Many thanks to XH2O for his hospitality the night prior, and to TriDDS & Mrs for their hospitality for the post race burrito bash. Thanks to all the Donkeys and other BTers for their support. This ROCKS!!!

  • Comments: Nice race, great venue. Finally met many BTers. We had huge representation, literally and figuratively. We made for quite a picture with the height of most of the BTers. It was really exciting to see TriDDS win the Oly Clydesdale division. Big props to XH2Oskier for the hospitality. Congrats to all BTers!
