  • Comments: I really enjoyed this race. It was a lot bigger than I thought it would be, but everything still seemed to run very smoothly. My only issue was with the day before bike check...totally unnecessary. After last weekend's bike mechanical issues, it was fun to have a good performance today. I still got beat by Bethany (my faster half!), but she flat out crushed it today! 4th woman overall! I'm so proud of her and I'm still holding my head high because I felt like I gave it an all-out effort today too. We've both come a long way this year. I'm really looking forward to solid training in the off-season and great things in 2010. Also, I'm so glad we found the Atlanta Tri Club and the camaraderie and fun it's brought to training. Never thought if would happen, but this sport has ignited a competitive fire I thought was long gone!

  • Comments: Overall a great race for my first both in where I finished and the race itself. I think it was well organized and it made a great impression on me for the sport as a whole.

  • Comments: This was my second ever triathlon. Was shocked to find that I'd finished third in AG. I wasn't fast, others were just slower. Well run and fun. Fair courses with a bit of a challenge. Swim could easily be a bit longer. I'll be back next year.

  • Comments: Well run -it was my first Gamultisport and now I get the bias for these races. Volunteers, swag, food, expo all good stuff. The kid also walked away with a new Rudy helmet for being the youngest competitor, and I made off with a T-shirt for being a Clyde! Not to mention about 5 cases of Active water that the active guy did not want to put back in the truck so he was giving it away. The weather was perfect if they can order that up for every race count me in!

  • Comments: Good race, fast course, almost too many people but I never had the issue of people getting in my way. TONS of volunteers and crowd support. Very family friendly event. However, like always, not a lot of post race activities seeing as how as soon as the race ended, a lot of people left the venue. Now to get ready for Hickory Knob in 2 weeks, last race of the season.

  • Comments: Jim puts on a great race. Organized, fun, great t-shirt. Only complaint, bike drop-off on Saturday with race on sunday. Next year, stay in the resort overnight and have the family come watch = problem solved. Lots of first timers which is great to see the enthusiam, excitement and nervousness of the group. FUN

  • Comments: Great GA Multisports race as always. Lake Lanier Islands has dome HUGE renovations too and the roads are in super condition. The traffic is hit or miss on if you get stuck behind a car, but oh well...

  • Comments: Great race! The Saturday drop off is a major pain, but I understand why they do it - they didn't last year and it was a disaster. They had to hold up the start because so many people couldn't get into the park and the parking lots although they arrived plenty early. The traffic issue inside the park needs work, but otherwise a well run and fun race.

  • Comments: Great race for beginners and a benchmark from year to year. I don't know if I will include this on my schedule next year.. The bike drop.. Big minus. I also think it is getting too big. Really crowded on the bike. My buddy got squeezed on a traffic circle on the bike and crashed/broke his collar bone. tough way to end the season. I felt really bad for him. Just too many people not paying attention on the course!!

  • Comments: I won't rate this race the best because of the day before mandatory bike check-in. The PTC sprint tri is still the best in Georgia.
