  • Comments: Loved the race and had a great time!!! It was a small, low-key, but well-organized race! It was fun to get in one final triathlon and break up the marathon training with a short, fast event! Mike convinced T-Bod and me to race this because it was his birthday weekend, and I'm glad we did!

  • Comments: The Y had LOTS of volunteers to help. Well organized and everyone was very helpful. It was great to see the different social organizations (ie Girl Scouts) there to serve as volunteers. Bike route - All intersections were very well controlled by local law enforcement and fire personnel. Folks were posted at the one blind curve to alert divers and participants. Bike Course was well marked (even though I am very familiar with it). A big thanks to all at the Manitowoc-Two Rivers YMCA and all of the volunteers. I made sure to thank all I came across.

  • Comments: The race itself is a good one. About 200 people and i really like you can shower there and relax. This is my home YMCA. The non numbered racking can be an issue and i saw 2 men almost get in a fight over spots. I gave up mine so they wouldnt fight!

  • Comments: I really enjoyed this race. It is a lot of fun. I did originally sign up for the Clydes division. Which i won, but afterwards withdrew myself (w=on by over 11 mins) and dropped into AG where i belonged. AND if i would not have forgot the helmet and been set back a minute - i would have finished 3rd but only a few seconds behind 2nd and possibly in 2nd pending the wet suit fiasco.

  • Comments: This is a great little race that is organized and fun to do. For being a smaller race there was some pretty impressive hardware in the transition area. Lots of carbon, Zipps and tri-specific bikes.

  • Comments: It was nice to have a smaller race, very well run. I don't know my transition times b/c we didn't have chips. All of my rankings are from the women's results.

  • Comments: I would do this race again. It was a nice small race. My results as listed above were not from the official results as T1 and T2 were included in the bike and run times. I was lucky to have timed them myself. Also the results above were only for the women. The official results did not give both men and women together. There were 142 men plus an additional 21 Clydesdale/Athena participants. Of note, I would have won the Athena division had I been entered there instead of in age group. Hmmmmmmmmmmm, maybe next time.
