  • Comments: The allure of a night race got me to drive 2+ hours to this event, glad I did it, but don't think its worth the time in the future. Too many things that left me feeling let down by this one.

  • Comments: Didn't like that there was zero prerace info or updates. My friends results didn't show up on the board and they had her age group wrong. The transition area was half underwater which made setting up difficult. The bathrooms were also flooded. The course was good but not sure I'd do this race again.

  • Comments: I always love the CR races...they're fast, they're fun, and I usually find some new speed when I go there.

  • Comments: This was so much fun. The race directors even made the awards fun for everyone. They had some trivia some contest and involved the whole crowd. Jeff kicked ass at the push up contest but the guy that did the most.....he did cheat! he didnt go all the way down but nobody was gonna call him out cause it was for fun....but Jeff had a wonderful cheering squad. I heard one dude say "damn if that dude would have done them like the other guy he could have done 800!" hehehe. The ladies too were enjoying the view.

  • Comments: Crystal River races are always good. Fun and well organized. It's becoming a very FAST race though. I pulled a sub-1-hour time and still only managed 29th overall out of 152 and 8th of 14 in AG. 10 of the 14 in my AG were in the top 40. There are some FAST people in my AG!!!

  • Comments: I love racing in Crystal River. It is by far my favorite local venue. The races are all small but competitive. I have yet to place in my AG up there. It hurts when there are only 6 people in your AG and you place 4th. It was fun to have Chis and Jeff cheering me on. :) After the race we went to Chilis and acted obnoxious as usual. Hoochie mamas UNITE!
