  • Comments: I missed the cut off time to sign up for this so I ran with my wife at her pace. I am sure that I could have gone faster but I had a really good run. My shoes kinda sucked though. I am going back to my Mizunos, don't mess with a good thing.

  • Comments: The race itself was great! It is very well organized and everything is on time. The course is great and very easy. I will definitely do this race again and again. Crowd and volunteer support is top notch also.

  • Comments: This was my first half marathon and what a great way to start! I never thought I would say this, but I can't wait to do another one! I might enjoy running yet! The weather held off and it was just amazing and such a God send. The spectators and volunteers were great and so wonderful in encouraging us and cheering us on. I think there were fewer spectators this year (Jen said it was mentioned on the live broadcast of the marathon) because of the weather, but those who showed up were great. There were spectators who had music playing outside of their houses, this one guy was banging a large pot as he cheered us on. Lots of signs. There was one guy around mile 8 that was standing on the sidewalk and singing the Rocky theme...the entire time!!!!! He kept going and when I did the turnaround, he was still going! Way to go, dude! Thanks!! Funniest moment....as we were coming down a hill at around mile 3 or so, there was a huge grassy clearing to the right of us and a large bamboo circular

  • Comments: Truly enjoyed the half marathon. I met my goals and the highly organized volunteers made for a wonderful experience. Sad that I missed the BT party afterwards, but I was helping with HRTC and trying to nurse my sick fiancee.

  • Comments: What a blast! I don't know where I "should be" as far as performance is concerned, but I'm really happy with this effort. This was the perfect way to enter this season! And to top off a great race, Celeste had a super party for all us BTers at her house, and it was fun to visit, trade war stories, and just hang out. Thanks for that Celeste...you are first class!

  • Comments: Great race for a first timer. Lots of support and volunteers. It will be a very memorable day in a postitive way. Now I just have to figure out how to put the other 57.2 miles ahead of this!

  • Comments: The Houston Marathon and Half Marathon are really well organized. I love that so many people come out to cheer despite being so darn cold outside.
